| i think today to give you some lessons in English i hope you will like this sweet language
we start first with rules of the present simple tense
follow me and if you couldn`t understant some thing just ask me and i will answer you inchallah
as we know there are auxiliaries in english they are three
TO BE,TO HAVE and TO DO
we must know the conjugation of these auxiliaries because of their important role
this is the coNjugation of auxiliaries in the present simple tense
TO BE
I am
We are
You are
They are
She is
He is
It is
TO HAVE
I have
We have
You have
She has
He has
It has
TO DO
I do
We do
You do
They do
She does
He does
It does
I think they are so easy to learn..right?
ok now we are ready to learn how we conjugate a verb in the present simple tense
-1-She;he;it + stem (stem is the verb without TO ) + ''S''
I;you;we;they + stem
Eg: I eat dates
She eats dates
-2-When the verb eands with (o;sh;ch;s;z) we add ''es'' to the stem with pronouns (she;he;it)
Eg: She goes;finishes;teaches;passes.
-3-When the verb ends with ''y''
a- There is a vowel before the ''y'' (a;e;i;o;u)
Eg: He plays football
b- There is a consonant before the ''y'' (b;c;d....) we change the ''y'' into ''i'' then we add ''es''
Eg: To study---studi + es --- studies
REMARK
-When there is : always;usually;sometimes;never;often;rarly;every(day-week-year-...) the verb of the sentence will be in the present simple tense
The main uses of the present simple tense:
1-To express facts or general statements:
a-Eternal facts: eg: the earth moves around the sun
b-Special facts and general statements: eg: bad people never tell the truth
c-Proverbes: eg: action speak louder than words
2-To express habits and repeated actions:
Eg: I have a cup of coffee every morning
3-To express present actions:
Eg: i understand you verywell
